The symptoms or illnesses of the body are, in fact, messages that reveal where we may have neglected our care. They prompt us to reflect on which thoughts or emotions are out of balance, who we may be holding onto or failing to accept, and what unresolved matters exist within our family. They also remind us of those we have excluded, forgotten, or disrespected. Therefore, let us learn to listen to these messages anew, with fresh eyes and an open heart, to discover what our bodies are trying to tell us and what lessons we can learn from them. Here is a really good inner constellation exercise that you can do alone or with the guidance of a friend:
Inner Constellation — Listening to the Messages of the Body
Please find a quiet space.
Sit or lie down in a focused posture.
Tune into your body.
Place your hand on the area where you feel discomfort or have a symptom.
Imagine yourself entering your body.
Visualize yourself moving into the symptom.
Enter the affected organ or tissue.
Feel from within.
Observe this symptom.
With an open heart.
Wait.
Wait patiently for the message this symptom has for you.
As you delve deeper into this symptom, notice what or who you see. Truly acknowledge this presence. Speak to it:"I see you. I see you. I respect your fate. In my heart, I give you a place. I see you."
Continue to wait, opening yourself to receive the message from this symptom.
It may come as a simple sentence or just a few words.
Remain open and patient.
When it emerges, this message becomes a precious gift. Keep this gift close to your heart—it may be incredibly healing, a gift full of blessings, for both you and your family.
