The Laws of Relationships

Through extensive observation and practical evaluation of thousands of cases worldwide, Teacher Chou Ting Wen has summarized the most important principles in the science of relationships, known as the "Four Laws of Relationships" (TAOS).

1. Trans-Generations:

Relationships are a form of information transmission. Life acts as both a receiver and transmitter of this information, which is shared within groups such as families, companies, and societies. Moreover, this transmission spans across generations, meaning that the information within relationships is passed down through time. This includes a wide range of elements such as emotions, beliefs, behavioral patterns, and collective unconscious influences. Understanding the principles of generational transmission helps us recognize unconscious entanglements and losses within families or organizations, allowing us to transform these challenges into sources of support and move towards happiness and success.

2. All in One:

A relationship is an organic, holistic system. The concept of "all in one" means that the whole is reflected in each individual part, similar to how traditional Chinese medicine uses ear acupuncture to treat the entire body. Conversely, changes in one part can influence the whole. Relationships function as an interconnected system, where all members share responsibility for what happens within it. Unresolved issues are not just personal matters but are shared by the entire system. Life has an innate drive toward completeness and a self-adjusting ability. Therefore, by addressing unresolved issues and awakening our capacity for self-awareness and adjustment, we contribute to both our own well-being and the integrity of the entire system.

3. Orders and Place:

Relationships thrive on order and position. The sequence and position of individuals within relationships are as crucial as the gravitational forces between planets in the solar system. In family dynamics, who belongs to our system? In a workplace, who influences our system? Is everyone in their rightful place? Has anyone been excluded? Are the interactions orderly and harmonious? Systemic constellation work in relationship science has clearly demonstrated how the law of order operates and how members of a system influence each other. Therefore, learning and applying relationship science and understanding the order within relationships can help us transform personal love into universal love, turn failure into success, and rediscover the taste of happiness.

4. Sense of Balance:

Balance in relationships is an instinctive response. Human interactions naturally seek balance, and the balance between giving and receiving is the key to successful relationships. However, achieving this balance is an art that requires learning. Relationship science explores not only interpersonal relationships but also the relationships between individuals and themselves, their work, organizations, society, money, success, life, death, ancestors, and nature. Every relationship between heaven, humanity, and all things can be explored and understood in meaningful ways. Therefore, learning to maintain “balance and harmony” and to “walk the way” is a crucial issue that modern people need to address.
